Confidence v. Competence
Confidence does not always equal competence. For example, you could meet a person with all the confidence in the world, but is very limited in their abilities and uses that confidence to make up for it. You could also meet a very shy, soft spoken person with astounding brilliance. You just need to dig a bit deeper to find out if a person is a gold-painted pebble or a diamond in the rough.
